Earl for Model Number RFG298HDRS When I reset the freezer ice maker everything appears to function except water coming into the tray. I noticed the arm cycles up and down but stays up at the end of the cycle and cannot be pulled down manually.
Answer Earl, The arm is supposed to stay in the up position when at the end of the cycle and will not be able to be pulled down. For the issue with no water coming to the icemaker you will want to test to see if the water valve is getting 120 vac to it when the icemaker calls for water.
