Rebecca for Model Number RF4287HA My Samsung French door refrigerator is not making ice.. we get water through the door and have replaced the filter..it makes a "straining" noise at the back of the ice maker but no ice, don't think water is going into it but not sure.. turned the circuit breaker off for about 5 minutes, still not working.. do we need to replace the ice maker?
Answer Rebecca, You will want to cycle the icemaker and check to make sure that the water valve is getting 120 vac to it. If there is no power to the valve then the icemaker would be the issue.
