Answer Carol, Yes the ice maker will shut itself off when the "bail arm" touches the top of the ice cubes in the ice bin. If the curved arm cannot "drop" to the full down position, the ice maker will not make ice cubes, until the arm can drop to the full down position. Thanks, Read More...
