John for Model Number RB215LASH The ice maker has quit dumping ice. I can manually dump it and it fills and freezes but will not dump until I press the manual dump button. Freezer is set to make ice. Also, freezer will only get down to 10 or sometimes 5 degrees even though it is set to -10 degrees. Ice cream won't freeze hard.
Answer Hello John. Try cleaning the condenser coils and make sure the condenser fan is running good. If so, then the temp sensor needs to be checked. If it is good, then you need an HVAC tech for the sealed system on the unit. The icemaker needs to be 0-5° to properly make ice. Thanks. Read More...
