I have pressed the test/reset button on the bottom of the ice maker head and the tray will empty and water will run into the empty tray, but will not automatically produce ice. 1 Answer Al, more than likely the thermistor on the icemaker assembly [DA97-02203H] has failed and would need to be replaced. Being that the icemaker is able to harvest when the reset button is engaged, that eliminates the possibility of a voltage issue as it would not harvest if the icemaker did not have voltage. Holly November 26, 2018 for Model Number RB215LABP We have lost power several times recently. Each time our fridge gives a code for the ice make sensor and the condenser fan failure. I pulled off the back and the fan is running. I vacuumed everything out. The ice maker will fill up with ice but will not dump it unless I press the reset button. 1 Answer Holly, For the issue of the icemaker sensor you could test at the control board to see if the sensor is good. It should have a resistance of 5K ohms at room temp but at 0 degrees it should be around 29.5K ohms and would be tested at the CN90 connector pins 3 to pin 4 with the connector disconnected. If the resistance is good then the control board is faulty. For the condenser fan if it is running but getting a condenser fan error then this will likely be the control board that is faulty. John September 13, 2017 for Model Number RB215LASH The ice maker has quit dumping ice. I can manually dump it and it fills and freezes but will not dump until I press the manual dump button. Freezer is set to make ice. Also, freezer will only get down to 10 or sometimes 5 degrees even though it is set to -10 degrees. Ice cream won't freeze hard.
