Holly for Model Number RB215LABP We have lost power several times recently. Each time our fridge gives a code for the ice make sensor and the condenser fan failure. I pulled off the back and the fan is running. I vacuumed everything out. The ice maker will fill up with ice but will not dump it unless I press the reset button. Can you please advise what I should do next to fix it??
Answer Holly, For the issue of the icemaker sensor you could test at the control board to see if the sensor is good. It should have a resistance of 5K ohms at room temp but at 0 degrees it should be around 29.5K ohms and would be tested at the CN90 connector pins 3 to pin 4 with the connector disconnected. If the resistance is good then the control board is faulty. For the condenser fan if it is running but getting a condenser fan error then this will likely be the control board that is faulty.
