Phil for Model Number RF23HCEDTSR/AA I have been having the ongoing ice/water build up under and within the crisper for the last couple years. I attempted to simply defrost what I could see in the drain hole but have read that its a bit more involved and you should actually hear the last ice chunk drop. It seems a lot of models have a solution which is a longer drain clip - I have not been able to find one for my model, is it called something different?
Answer Hello Phil, the defrost drain clip repair does not show for your model however there is a possibility, Remove the ice maker and auger motor assembly, and check the iceroom floor at the left edge, front to back, where it meets the wall for a gap, if found it will cause your problem and repair will be to seal the gap with RTV sealer DA81-05595A.
