Hello Phil, the defrost drain clip repair does not show for your model however there is a possibility, Remove the ice maker and auger motor assembly, and check the iceroom floor at the left edge, front to back, where it meets the wall for a gap, if found it will cause your problem and repair will be to seal the gap with RTV sealer DA81-05595A.

Glenn, The main reason I have seen for this issue is the defrost drain either clogging and backing up or allowing outside air in and freezing up. Sometimes you can simply pull the unit out and clean the drains or if they have become deformed they would need to be replaced. Most units have three for the freezer, refrigerator and ice maker room. DA97-04049D is the part I am referring to.

Miroslav, The temp sensor would be the most likely issue with the unit not cycling back on but it could also be a issue with the control board.

Don for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA S/N : 102043CZCO 1342

Samsung Refrigerator RF4287HARS/XAA S/N : 102043CZCO 1342 is not freezing or cooling at all. The compressor seems to be working. On the front display i set it on any temp (-8 ) and when it reverts back to where it’s supposed to show the correct temp of freezer, it says the freezer temp is -25. Which is definitely not right. The fridge temp seems to be working right on the display. Im finding it hard to find the correct parts to replace... temperature sensors, main board? Also one time when I did a manual self diagnostic test a 23 showed up which is supposed to be a condenser fan?

Don, If both the refrigerator and freezer are not cooling and the compressor is running then check the frost pattern on the coils and see if there is a good even frost pattern. If there is not then this would be a sealed system issue.

Eugene, Yes, there is a drain heater probe for your model refrigerator. The part number is DA61-03644A / DA61-03644A and the part is in stock and available at this time. Also check to make sure all the doors close and seal properly and the articles on the shelves aren't against the wall, or hanging over the edges and blocking the air flow away from the lower area and back of the refrigerator compartment.
