Jaime43 for Model Number RFG293HARS/XAA-0001 Samsung RFG293HARS - The freezer is running warmer than the displayed temp - even after power off resets. When set to -2F, the temp is in mid 20s F (with Ice OFF). With ice on (there is no water line to fridge), manual says it will stay at -14F, but actual is about 7F. These actual temps almost match exactly what a -2 C and -14 C (vs displayed F) setting should produce. Am trying to switch the display from F to C, but nothing in manual. Other models use energy saver switch (3 Sec) to change, but it does nothing on mine. Before I replace the freezer temp sensor and/or main PCB, would like to try to switch this back and forth from F to C etc to see if this is the problem. Any suggestions?
Answer Jaime, It does sound like this would be set up on Celcius rather than fahrenheit but unfortunately we do not have information on changing the display to fahrenheit.
