Edward. February 28, 2026 for Model Number RF27T5201SG/AA-01 My refrigerator! The freezer is cold, but the refrigerator is warm. The temperature setting is at 37, and the fan is running. My refrigerator's freezer is cold, but the refrigerator is warm. And the fan is running, and the compressor. The refrigerator gets cold outside and inside, but when it stops inside and outside are warm. is the temperature sensor BAD?
1 Answer Edward, You will want to take the rear cover in the refrigerator section off and check the evaporator coils to make sure that they are not frozen over. If they are then you would want to test the defrost sensor, the defrost bimetal, and the defrost heater. If any are bad then replace the bad part. If they all test good then the issue will be a faulty control board that would need to be replaced. Read More...
Dan August 29, 2025 for Model Number rf28hmedbsr/aa-20 I have an error code 13 C displaying on the front of the ice/water dispenser. No water or ice will dispense I replaced the humidity sensor on the top outside of the door - DA32-00034B. Error is still there. Any recommendations?
1 Answer Hello Dan, and thank you for your question. Here’s how you can check the humidity sensor circuit: Unplug the power cord. Access the main control and disconnect the wire connection CN30. Test resistance between the wires at pin 1 and pin 3 of that connector. If the meter shows open line (OL): there’s a broken or loose wire, most likely at the door hinge. If you do get a resistance reading: that points to the main control DA94-02663D as the cause of failure. Read More...
Travis L March 11, 2025 for Model Number rfg298hdwp/xaa-02 I have error code 33 E every time the power goes out during a storm, but for several months (maybe 6 months) I would just reset the screen and everything seemed to work fine. But now my freezer is reading too cold....-12 degrees. I have it set to 8 degrees. What do you think is the problem? Temperature sensor? Or warming tube?
1 Answer Travis, The error code could be caused by a loose or faulty wire or wire connection, power surge, or other electrical anomaly. Place the unit into diagnostics for any other errors, and check the heater resistance. Check the temperature sensor for the proper resistance also. Reset the refrigerator by pressing both the power freeze & power cool buttons together for approximately ten seconds. Read More...

Marty April 15, 2024 for Model Number RF261BEAEWW It is warm in the refrigerator and freezer. There is cold air blowing from below the freezer. Normally, I believe it should blow warm air from below the freezer. I'm not sure where to start in diagnosing the problem.
1 Answer Marty, The first thing to do is check to see if the compressor is running. If it is not then the inverter board would most likely be the issue. Read More...
Brian April 03, 2024 for Model Number RF28HMEDBSR/AA-0000 Could you tell me what is the difference between part numbers da32-10104n and da32-00033c? They both come up as temp sensors for my model. I am interested in changing the sensor in the fridge behind the panel. Are there multiple sensors in the firdge area? Thanks
1 Answer Brian, Appearance wise, the difference will be with the length of the part and the connector on the sensors are different. Functionally, there should be no difference between the 2. Read More...

Looks like several are listed and I want to get the correct one. options listed for my model I found were DA32-10105x, DA32-10104N, and DA32-00011C. Please help me clear up this sensor confusion, Thank You.
1 Answer Eddie, the refrigerator sensor would be part number DA32-10105X for the model provided and is located in the refrigerator evaporator cover. Read More...

Kim April 12, 2023 for Model Number RF28HDEDBSR/AA / 0008 My fridge is freezing food in the fresh food compartment. I placed a standalone temp sensor in the fresh food compartment and it looks like the fridge is trying to maintain a temp that is a lot colder than what is set at the panel. The freezer seems to work fine. I found parts AP4979323 and AP4140984, but I am not sure what the differences are between these two. What is the purpose of each of these sensors, and which one controls the fresh food temp vs. freezer vs. front panel?
