Travis L March 11, 2025 for Model Number rfg298hdwp/xaa-02 I have error code 33 E every time the power goes out during a storm, but for several months (maybe 6 months) I would just reset the screen and everything seemed to work fine. But now my freezer is reading too cold....-12 degrees. I have it set to 8 degrees. What do you think is the problem? Temperature sensor? Or warming tube?
1 Answer Travis, The error code could be caused by a loose or faulty wire or wire connection, power surge, or other electrical anomaly. Place the unit into diagnostics for any other errors, and check the heater resistance. Check the temperature sensor for the proper resistance also. Reset the refrigerator by pressing both the power freeze & power cool buttons together for approximately ten seconds. Read More...

Marty April 15, 2024 for Model Number RF261BEAEWW It is warm in the refrigerator and freezer. There is cold air blowing from below the freezer. Normally, I believe it should blow warm air from below the freezer. I'm not sure where to start in diagnosing the problem.
1 Answer Marty, The first thing to do is check to see if the compressor is running. If it is not then the inverter board would most likely be the issue. Read More...
Brian April 03, 2024 for Model Number RF28HMEDBSR/AA-0000 Could you tell me what is the difference between part numbers da32-10104n and da32-00033c? They both come up as temp sensors for my model. I am interested in changing the sensor in the fridge behind the panel. Are there multiple sensors in the firdge area? Thanks
1 Answer Brian, Appearance wise, the difference will be with the length of the part and the connector on the sensors are different. Functionally, there should be no difference between the 2. Read More...

Eddie November 28, 2023 for Model Number RF263BEAESR/AA Rev.03 Temp for fresh food is set to 37, but reads 80 on the panel. All food in the fresh section is freezing up. Freezer section seems to be working as it should. I believe it may be a sensor issue, but which one do I order. Looks like several are listed and I want to get the correct one. options listed for my model I found were DA32-10105x, DA32-10104N, and DA32-00011C. Please help me clear up this sensor confusion, Thank You.
1 Answer Eddie, the refrigerator sensor would be part number DA32-10105X for the model provided and is located in the refrigerator evaporator cover. Read More...
Mike S October 23, 2023 for Model Number RF263TEAESG/AA Is this temp sensor the same one that's in the freezer? My unit is reading -3 degrees, but it's really around 50deg based on a reading I took with a thermometer and a glass of water I had in there for two hours. Temp sensor the culprit?

Kim April 12, 2023 for Model Number RF28HDEDBSR/AA / 0008 My fridge is freezing food in the fresh food compartment. I placed a standalone temp sensor in the fresh food compartment and it looks like the fridge is trying to maintain a temp that is a lot colder than what is set at the panel. The freezer seems to work fine. I found parts AP4979323 and AP4140984, but I am not sure what the differences are between these two. What is the purpose of each of these sensors, and which one controls the fresh food temp vs. freezer vs. front panel?
Jay March 13, 2023 for Model Number RF323TEDBSR The sensor is broken inside my bottom freezer. When I pulled out the freezer drawer, I noticed some wire sticking out from the freezer ceiling. It broke off along with the cover due to being iced up. What causes it and what's the sensor and sensor cover part number? Can you share the link with me so I can buy both sensor and the cover. Thanks.
1 Answer Jay, There is not a temperature sensor for the ceiling of this model and the only sensor that would be exposed would be on the icemaker. This sensor cannot be replaced separately and you would need to get the icemaker to replace this. The icemaker part number would be DA97-07603B. Read More...
Michael March 12, 2023 for Model Number RF25HMEDBSR/AA-0000 Freezer temp 57 degree cannot go down to 0 degree and remove the panel it is clean no ice build up, the fan is working. Fridge temp is 26 degree setup at 34 degree. fan is working. No error code. Check the board and see the LED red stay on. Not blinking. This refrigerator is only less 5 year. Few years ago, Samsung technician replaced the invertor board. Now, this Samsung refrigerator is broken. My wife told me to get new one. But I want to try it last to replace some parts to fix it. Do I should replace all sensors freezer and fridge? Please advise. Thanks!
1 Answer Michael, With the evaporator, not frosting and the temp not dropping as it should this sounds like a sealed system issue and for these repairs you will need an EPA-certified technician. Read More...
