Alex for Model Number rf28hmedbsr/aa Problem: Temperature displayed 80 deg(on the fridge side) while it was actually 32-29 deg inside frig compartment. Foods were becoming frozen(after 3-4days) even though I set the temp to be 39 (I see Error Code: "2 C" after I plug in refrigerator) Refrigerator model: rf28hmedbsr What I did: Replaced sensor with new: DA32-10104N (Temp sensor) Replaced Control board with new: DA41-00750B Still the same problem 80F on fridge side! What else could it be?
Answer Alex, unfortunately, the sensor DA32-10104N is going to be the freezer sensor whereas the refrigerator sensor is going to be part number DA32-00011D. This can make a difference as the shorter length of the freezer sensor can easily cause too much strain on the wire if it is used in the refrigerator section, potentially causing a loose or broken connection.
