Answer

Patrick, the refrigerator temperature sensor would need to be tested for resistance to identify if the resistance matches up to the actual temperature. At 37°F the sensor should measure 11.7KO, at 41°F it should measure 10.8KO, and at 44°F it should measure 10KO. It would also be recommended that the evaporator is inspected to identify if it is blocked up with ice as well as identifying if the fan is operating properly. To ensure the correct parts for this are identified, the REV number of your appliance would be necessary. In regards to the ice maker, it is likely that there is an air leak where the ice container wall meets up with the refrigerator wall. This can be verified by removing the ice bin and shining a light up through the corner to see if light passes into the ice maker section. If it does, the ice would need to be cleared out and the entire container seam would need to be sealed using the RTV sealant DA81-05595A and the Y-clip assembly DA82-02367A would need to be installed.
