Travis L for Model Number rfg298hdwp/xaa-02 I have error code 33 E every time the power goes out during a storm, but for several months (maybe 6 months) I would just reset the screen and everything seemed to work fine. But now my freezer is reading too cold....-12 degrees. I have it set to 8 degrees. What do you think is the problem? Temperature sensor? Or warming tube?
Answer Travis, The error code could be caused by a loose or faulty wire or wire connection, power surge, or other electrical anomaly. Place the unit into diagnostics for any other errors, and check the heater resistance. Check the temperature sensor for the proper resistance also. Reset the refrigerator by pressing both the power freeze & power cool buttons together for approximately ten seconds. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 11, 2025
