David S for Model Number RF18HFENBWW I just purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator, (rf18hfenbww). I have two questions. One, every where I search, that carry parts for Samsung, this model number can not be found. Is this refrigerator a true Samsung product? And my biggest problem is, it cools perfect and freezes just like it is suppose to, the temps stay right where they are suppose to. But this refrigerator has not stopped running since I bought it four days ago. It does have the inverter compressor, and I have checked the amps with a kill-o-meter and it is never pulling more than 0.70 amps. Is it normal for this refrigerator to run constantly? I am concerned because I have a limited time to be able to return it. Thanks for the help, David
Answer David, This refrigerator is a Samsung unit. With it being a new unit, it may not pull up in a lot of systems yet. As for the issue that you are having. The unit will typically run an average of around 85 to 90% of the time by design. The less it has to start up allows it to be more energy efficient. If the temps are good then it is shutting down as needed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 9, 2015
