Teresa B. for Model Number rm255barb I have a 4 door samsung fridge that the main freezer door is not working properly. The ice maker is exteremly warm and not making ice. I can tell it's not cold enough yet the lower portion of freezer (same door compartment) is still cold and I can feel the cold air blowing. But the top half is not. There are 2 holes that push cold air through the freezer and the top two seem not to be blowing any air out, but the lower ones do, I can feel the cold air. As I examied the freezer, I moved the food away from the air holes and found the wire compartment cover was off a little bit and the wires may have been exposed to the cold air. What could be wrong with my fridge? Please help!!
Answer Hello Teresa. You will need to check and see if the fan motors DA31-00020E and DA97-03114A in the freezer are running. There are two fan motors, one at the top and one at the bottom.
