Craig for Model Number LGR8858EQ0 Hi, We have an electric Whirlpool dryer. It has stopped blowing warm/hot air now. Any suggestions? I was thinking a temperature switch? Thanks.
Answer Hello Craig, first you will want to make sure the exhaust vent is clear from any obstructions. Then you will want to verify the heating element has not grouded out. If all looks good, then you will test all of your thermostats with multi meterMA-DM1. Here is a link you can refer to for help with using a multi meter: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html . Please verify the model number you provided is correct, the one you gave us is for a gas unit. Thanks! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 7, 2011
