Nicholas for Model Number WP3399640 "I have a Whirlpool dryer model #WED5560SQ0. I just tested all my wires, plug, and all other electrical components. I've also cleaned out my dryer and air duct and there's good air flowing in and out of my dryer because my air duct flap outside is open when it's on to indicate good airflow. I just just all my dials and I see that my selector switch does not have continuity on the "Heavy High Load" setting but all the other settings have continuity. My clothes still run on heavy load but my clothes are still damp and have to run dryer again until clothes are done. Why is the dryer still running on "Heavy Load" with no continuity and is the selector switch important when it comes to drying clothes than just good clean airflow and not tripping any components?"
Answer Nicholas, If the selector switch is not showing continuity then the issue will be that the switch is faulty and would need replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 7, 2018
