Roger M. for Model Number KUDM01TJBL0 What does the thermostat or humidistat do to the function of the dishwasher?
Answer Hi Roger. The function of the thermostat comes in play when the "heated dry" option is desired. It is placed in the bottom of your motor/ pump sump assembly, to monitor the temperature of the water inside. If the thermostat does not "see" 140 degrees (some -^ temps.),it will stall the timer or the control board from advancing the cycle. It allows the heater to raise the temperature slowly so you will get the heated rinse and dry. Your hi- limit thermostat part # is WP661566. Thank you. Read More...
