Krs03 for Model Number KUDS01FKSS1 I am still at a loss for an explanation of the "Wax Motor" I see a rubber flap that controls the exhaust vapor out of the top of the door (and into my wood counter-top). It vents during every washer run, I don't use a heated dry cycle. I also saw (while replacing the thermal fuse) that the "wax motor" plastic case was partially separated. Is it possible that some damage to this electrical part has caused a failure of the thermal fuse? Will an ohm meter between terminals show a particular resistance or an open or a short? Thanks.
Answer KRS03, The wax motor will not show a resistance but if it is separated then it would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 28, 2015
