Giulio for Model Number Whirlpool GU1500XTKS0 My dishwasher drips water from the vent side of the door. I've replaced the door seal, tightened all the T-15 door screws, and inspected the vent assembly. I understand the wax motor on the vent assembly is only used to vent steam when in drying mode. Is it possible the wax motor is not working properly and is letting water leak down the door during the wash cycle which is causing the slow drip from the left corner of the door? Any idea what might cause this type of leak? (I only see 1 drop every 20-30 seconds during the wash cycle.)
Answer Hello Giulio, You will need to check the spray arm holes for debris on all spray arms, make sure none of the spray arms are separating since they are made of two pieces of plastic melted together at th3e factory, and the middle spray arm is properly meshing with the feed tube in the back of the unit and no gaskets are missing.
