David for Model Number KUDM01TJWH0 No there are no lights flashing. The different wash cycle lights will sometimes come on when pressed other times they will not. The start light does not come on when pressed resulting in failure to start. I was able to get the machine to start on two separate occasions but since has reverted to what is explained above.
Answer David, you most likely have a dirty ribbon connector or a bad keypad/ control panel. Try this first, remove the control panel assembly and disconnect the key pad ribbon from the control board. Check for condensation and water marks in the control panel and the door liner assembly. Clean the end of the keypad ribbon and connector with alcohol, and re insert the ribbon in the connector properly and tightly. Install a thin coat of vaseline around the board connector and ribbon, re install and test the operation. Otherwise you want to start by replacing the control panel assembly WP8270227. Good Luck!
