Roglin for Model Number 3XLA87W72AWO Our washer leaves very bad greyish lint deposits on all black garments. I am unsure how to resolve this. I understand there is a lint filter brush under the inner drum but I cannot find one in the parts list but it is item 14 on the Agitator, Basket and Tub parts list. please advise if this exists as I cannot undo the Spanner Nut. Is there any other solution? Thanks
Answer Roglin, You don't need to remove the tub to access the filter plug kit 285868 You do need to remove the agitator, though. You will most likely find the plugs to be full of lint. The original filter assembly was removed from production and was discontinued several years ago. But, the " bad greyish lint deposits on all black garments" is more likely due to undisolved detergent, and or "overloading". It could also be due to lint transfer from one article to another, when the clothes are in the laundry basket. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 18, 2016
