D.J. for Model Number LSQ8243HQO My agitator spins directions the top part and the bottom part and my washer is leaking water only during the spin cycle. I purchsed a repacement kit for the upper agitator but wondered about the bottom one. I also wondered if the pump could be the problem for the water leak. Can you advise me?
Answer Hi D.J. Block your unit up w a sturdy paint can or a couple of 4x4 wood blocks. Look up under the unit at the front of the pump. In the center area it is common that they begin to wear out through the front. Pump part # WP3363394. If you see the motor coupler has begun to wear out and there is black rubber and plastic parts under the center. The motor coupler is part # 285753A. Thank You. Read More...
