Jim for Model Number KSRB25fkSS00 I just had the condenser relay replaced, but the fridge only gets to about 50 degrees F. The freezer seems ok at 1.0 degrees F. At the upper rear left of the fridge seems to be where the cold air is transferred, but the air flow is weak. I have the Freezer set to a 3 on a range of 1-5, and the fridge is on 5 the coldest. When I had the relay replaced, we defrosted the whole unit for two days. No frost or ice buildup on the coils. Both fans work fine. I can't find any obstructions in the flow channel from the interior fan to the fridge side. Can it be the diffuser?
Answer Jim, The diffuser is a possibility but there is one other thing that needs to be checked. You will want to check the vent that is located just above the upper crisper on the left refrigerator wall to make sure that it is not being blocked by ice or food product. If this is blocked it will cause restricted air flow. Open the freezer door and see if the air flows properly through the diffuser and if it does then the air return is blocked. Read More...
