Jeff for Model Number 53606201 Hello, the fresh food side of my fridge is warm and I narrowed the problem down to the diffuser door not opening. My thermistor measures out correctly but is there any way to test the diffuser before buying a new one such as taking it out and applying voltage to it? If so, how much voltage to witch of the three wires? Thank You!
Answer Hello Jeff. You will need to turn the unit off and on and test and see if there is power coming to the diffuser WP2216112. If there is power there and the unit does not open and close, you will need to replace the diffuser. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
