Eric for Model Number JDS9860BDS None of the buttons such as "Bake" on the left side of the touch panel no longer work. The clock is fine, the number pad on the right is fine, as are the two timer "buttons" I suspect the touch panel or Control Panel is the issue. I have also noticed some of the insulation on the left side of the oven door is charred and am guessing maybe some heat escaped and somehow damaged the left side of the Control Panel. My wife insisted on a repair man coming over and he wrote that it needs a "display board" . I can find a control board, but no display board and I suspect he means the control panel. What do you think? Thank you
Answer Hello Eric. Based on the information you provided, the control panel WPW10206068 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
