Karen for Model Number JDS8850BDS Hello, my range will only heat at 350 or 375 degrees. The touch screen on the stove only allows me to use these temp settings, no other touch controls appear to work? I have had this problem before and they replaced what I think is control board ? Could you tell me what you think it might be and what parts, costs to fix. Can you tell me why you think this continues to happen? Thank you Karen
Answer Hello Karen. It sounds like the control panel WPW10206089 is bad. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Try removing the ribbon cable and cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and a pencile eraser. Make sure it is dry before installing into the control board. Read More...
