Hello Karen. It sounds like the control panel WPW10206089 is bad. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Try removing the ribbon cable and cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and a pencile eraser. Make sure it is dry before installing into the control board.

Paul, You will want to disconnect power to the unit and access the control board. Once you have access to the control board, disconnect the ribbon harness for the keypad and check to make sure that there is no corrosion on the harness or connector. If corrosion or build up then clean with a electrical cleaner. If it checks ok then reseat the ribbon harness and make sure that it has a good firm connection. Return power and see if the keypads work. If still not working then the keypad would need to be replaced.

Hello Mark. It does sound as if the ribbob cable on the back of the control panel is shorting out and needs to be replaced. Before ordering a new control panel, part number WPW10206089, make sure that the ribbon cable is connected properly and is clean off any corrosion. Hope this helps you, thanks!
