Marty for Model Number MAH9700AWW Washer would not spin & was advised to change control board. Now it spins but the spin cycle won't spin very fast. Did a service mode check on the spin rpm's. It gets to 180rpm. Would the water level sensor cause this? Marty
Answer Hello Marty. Test the motor and make sure it is good. Check motor winding resistance CN9 pins 1 & 3=11.6ohms ±7%, Pins 1 & 2=11.6ohms ±7%, Pins 2 & 3=11.6ohms. ±7%. You may have a bad sensor on the motor WP34001269. Also check for loose connections at the pressure switch, motor, and control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
