Mochiler for Model Number NFW7200TW Hi, The washer seems to work fine but will not spin most of the time. It seems that when i wiggle a bit the water pressure level sensor part it starts the spin cycle (otherwise it is stuck at 8 or 9 minutes, sometimes it goes down to 6 and then back to 8). I measured the voltage on the water pressure level connector and i am getting 2.9VDC and not 2.5VDC. Is it a flaky water pressure sensor switch? If I replace it and it happens not to solve the issue - can i return it? Thanks!!
Answer Mochiler, We would expect a tenth of a DC volt to make a difference, or indicate an issue with the pressure switch. Like most front load washers, three things need to occur for the washer to spin. The door has to lock, the tub has to drain completely and the pressure switch has to reset to the empty circuit. First check to make sure there are no loose connections between the control board and door lock assembly, If you haven't yet, check the drain pump and hoses, to make sure the washer drains properly and is empty. The next check is at the pressure switch, remove power and the top panel, disconnect the air tube from the pressure switch and blow in the end of the tube. this would normally clear any sediment or debris that may build up on the inside of the air tube and restrict the airflow inside the tube and cause the pressure switch to act/operate erratically.
