Jesse E. for Model Number Whirlpool WTW5800SW0 Washer The ATC on my Whirlpool washer appears to be reversing hot and cold water. When in the Hot position, the water is cold. When in the Cold position the water is hot. This just recently started happening. I have verified that the water hoses are connected properly and that the water valve electrical connectors are correctly installed. Also, the thermistor on the water valve appears to be working correctly when measured at the connector to the ATC (about 40K ohms at room temperature and the resistance reduces when the valve temperature is raised). Can the ATC malfunction in this way? Seems very strange. Thanks for any suggestions you might have. Jesse
