Phil S for Model Number 4755AWW I have two questions please... first. My admiral washing machine only works on regular and only partly works on perm/gentle. and not at all on Gentle and blows the circuit on hand wash.. is this problem isolated to the selector alone and can this part be purchased? Secondly, my ATC seems to be having issues.. on warm it fills only hot and does not work on the other two settings.. however on the regular temp settings it seems to fill in the propper temps.
Answer Phil, A complete and proper model number would be a big help, But, the ATC switch WPW10184148 does control the water temperature, and the water temperature issue is most likely due to a fault in the switch assembly. Blowing the circuit breaker is the harder issue. Since it only occurrs on the hand wash setting, it could be a faulty contact in the timer, or a shorted wire in the harness, but it would have to be a wire specific to the hand wash selection.
