Paula for Model Number WFW9150WW01 I opened the washer door and the outer spring clamp came out with the door. My washer has been out of balance lately so not sure if that is what caused it or if the rubber piece that goes around the opening in the front needs replaced too. I tried to put the spring back on but having trouble. I hate to pay 200 or more for a repairman since the washer is 3 or 4 years old, but how do I know if it is the rubber part too?
Answer Paula, You will put the edge of the spring on and work the wire piece around the seal. Then when you get it as far as he could then you will use a pair of needle nose pliers and you will stretch the spring to get the wire the rest of the way in. Read More...
