Angelo for Model Number 66516489300 I took off all the coverings to clean out the trap and the chopper screen was completely clogged. After removing, cleaning and inspecting and comparing it against the pics of the new parts, my chopper assembly seems to be in good order. That said, the 4 prongs of the back side of the chopper shaft do not seem to engage with anything and when installed I can spin the chopper blade freely which drives the chopper shaft in turn (the chopper blade and chopper shaft are still integral). When looking at the motor shaft (with chopper removed) I don't see flukes or pinion that might engage the 4 prongs of the chopper shaft. Am I missing a part that engages with the cog side of the chopper shaft?
Answer Angelo, You will also need to check the spring on the chopper assembly W10083957V and make sure it is maintaining pressure against the screen, so the coupler tabs will engage the tabs on the center of the impeller assembly 8193951A and will "drive" the chopper blade.
