Mitzi for Model Number SVD48600B My Jenn-Air oven will not heat up, so we replaced the Electronic oven control assembly. The new one gives a error code F5 and it never did help the oven to heat up but the timer and clock display works fine now. Will having a new control assembly put in, fix the error code F5 and possible help our oven to start heating up? I've put the order in for a new assembly to be shipped but I'm courious if it will fix our problem this time? Thank you, Mitzi
Answer Mitzi, The F5 code indicates or or two issues, a) an oven temperature sensor problem 12001656, or a power relay board problem W10757086. Both components are located on the back of the range in the lower right hand corner after you remove the rear cover panel. If you haven't yet, check for 240 VAC to the range from the outlet or power box at the wall, and at the terminal block of the range. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
