Fred for Model Number Jenn-Air SVE-47600B Several times a year, and usually on Thanksgiving, our Jenn-Air will throw an F1 error and stop working. I can usually turn the breaker off/on and the stove will work fine for several months and then the problem will repeat. I have removed the front panel and cleaned the contacts and connectors to the oven control, but 3 months later I had the F1 error again. Everything I read suggests either the membrane or the oven control is defective, but it seems strange that the problems only happens a few times a year. Any suggestions?
Answer Hello Fred. The F1 code is for the power to the element relay is energized during the time of day display. You will need to check and see if the J2 harness is shorted or not connected good..
