Lhobbs for Model Number RT21LMXKQ01 Roper mod RT21LMXKQ01 with compressor EMY60HSC Several questions: Ordered 8201769 Start Kit. Do I use overload # 282402 or # 282403? There are two wires that connect to the old compressor, a RED (L1) wire and a White (N) wire and they are on a plastic plug type connector which I'll need to replace with a different type of connector. The instruction that came with the kit says to connect the RED red wire to the overload. What terminal on the relay should the White wire go to (terminal 1,2,or3?) The old relay/overload has a 12 mfd capacitor for the compressor, do I still need to use the capacitor and if so, which pin on the relay will I connect the cap lead to?
Answer L H, The white wire and one of the capacitor wires should go to terminal 1 on the relay and the other capacitor wire goes to terminal 2 and the red wire goes to the overload. this is pictured in figure 4 on the instruction sheet.
