Rob R for Model Number KSRG25FKSS01 Hi! Hi.. I have a KitchenAid KSRG25FKSS01. Symptoms: Click. Compressor goes on. 5 seconds later Click and compressor stops. Repeats cycle every minute. Reading forums I gather I may need to replace the relay or related overload? Parts #12 #13 and #15 in the diagrams look like they might be the right ones, but I don't know which to order? I opened the back and detached the white block on the left side of the compressor (didn't detach wires yet). It easily unplugged when pulled to the left after clipping the ziptie that held it on. The block just came off (looks like three "prongs" on the back, and a white, black and red wire going to the front of it). I just can't tell which replacement part to order.. some of the pix online look like they're multiple smaller parts, not the big white block that I took off. Help?
Answer Hello Rob, The compressor starting device kit 8201786 would be the correct kit to buy. The small overload and the relay that is not encased in the white box are the ones that you will need. You will also need to use the wire that comes with the part. This will connect to the small connector to be able to connect to the large connector on the relay. Read More...
