Whirlpool 8201786 Compressor Starting Device Kit OEM Part

I unplugged the unit, removed the back cardboard panel and replaced the compressor starting device, and also the capacitor. Plugged the unit back in and the compressor came on and immediately began cooling. I was so happy (proud of myself) for diagnosing the problem and fixing the unit. I watched a video on line that said to pull copressor starter off and shake it. If it sounded like a maraca, it was bad. Mine sounded bad. I ordered a new part and it took less than 15 minutes to replace. Fridge started cooling immediately. Could hear compressor kicl on immediately.

Just removed back cover removed 3 wires and pulled off the starting device and relay then pushed on new starting device and relay the 3 wires and cover and pluged it in and it works perfect.

After advice from a technician I checked for a compressor relay, however I did not know what it looked like and where it was located. I did a search on the internet and found your competitors website. They claimed to have the part and shared pictures. After taking apart every electronic component in my refrig I still could not find the relay shown on their site. I was afraid of ordering the wrong part. The refrig originally cost me $2000.00 and I almost gave it away, the actual repair cost for the parts was $44, but I bought other pairs - the Capacitor and Thermostat.
