Jon for Model Number KUDSO2FRSS3 My dishwasher starts normally but will not finish a cycle. About half way through you see the start light flashing like the door had been opened and yet no one has touched the dishwasher. Could it be the door latch or does it sound like the control board. Thanks in advance
Answer Hello Jon. Test and make sure the heater WPW10082892 and the thermostat WP661566 are good and the unit does heat the water in the unit and dry the dishes. They should read closed for continuity. If both are good, and the heater is not working, you will need to replace the control board WPW10084141. If the control board is good, and the heating is working, then the door switches WP8269209 may be bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
