Kevinb for Model Number mdc5100aww my dishwasher was installed recently, it was working fine. now it will fill with no interruption then when it is ready to wash it will only engage for 2 seconds then stalls for 30 seconds then repeats the same issue. I tried heavy duty same. then I tried to drain and it does the same, stays on for about 2 seconds then shuts down and will repeat this process about every thirty seconds. the lights on all buttons work. I unplugged the motor and heard it click to try to engage then just shut down.
Answer Kevin, Before you replace the control board, check and make sure there are no loose connections inside the electrical junction box, located behind the lower access panel/kickplate on the front of the dishwasher.
