Jonathan M. for Model Number JDB8910AWB My Jenn Air dishwasher stopped at the 66 minute mark and will not drain. Pressing the drain button causes a 2 to appear and then cyclical clicking from the control panel but no draining occurs. I think it is the power control board and have ordered a replacement. How hard is it to replace the power control board? Thanks!
Answer Hello Jonathan, The control replacement is not hard at all. The most important thing to remember is to turn off the power. After you remove the door liner, the rest is really simple. If you're worried about crossing wires, simply remove them one at a time and put them onto the new board before removing the next wire. I do recommend wearing gloves as you will get cut the worst when your not expecting it. Some of the edges are really sharp inside the unit. Read More...
