Sonja C for Model Number JDB8910AWW

I have model JDB8910AWW purchased/installed in 2002. SN27625772AL. It fills and runs and then at about 65-66 minutes stopped...I could hear clicking like it was trying to start to either empty or continue to next phase but did not continue. I did trouble shooting and tried all cycle buttons and I have all lights and cycle times glowing for every cycle and each cycle starts...Is this a module replacement or a latch replacement. There is slight flickering of lights when the cycle button is changed to another one. If a module would it fit with the current white top cover. This dishwasher still performs nicely but is 14 years old.

Sonja, You will want to check to see if the drain pump is getting power to it as this would be about the time in the cycle in which the unit would need to drain. If the drain pump is not getting power then the control board of the unit would be the issue.

Hello Dave. The control panel 6-915584 has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.

Jeremy for Model Number JDB8910

I have a Jenn-Air diswasher bought in 1999 with a bad control board, it smells like burned and has black coming our around one of the relays. Think around $499 was paid new, the board was replaced once years back so my question is do I replace the board again for $180 or buy new? Is it worth putting almost $200 into a unit that's 15 years old? It's still a beautiful looking and operating unit, really still looks like new. I hate the idea of paying $500 for a new unit but what are the odds the pump or some other component will go bad in another year or two? Part I need is below: Control Assembly (le Part Number: AP4113561 MFG Part Number: 99002827 Made by: Whirlpool

Hello Jeremy. It does sound like the board needs to be replaced. As for the valve we have no way of telling you if it is worth the repair. Sorry.

Hello Jo Ann. Make sure the door lock assembly is good. If so, you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit.

Hello Diane. Try holding the button for 3 seconds to clear the lock light. If it does not clear, you will need to replace the control panel on the unit.
