Rosco for Model Number rbd245pdb15 My double oven shows a fault code of E6 F2. It works for a while then goes out and the code comes before the screen goes blank again. Then after time it may come back on again and work for a few more weeks then goes out again. I have seen blogs saying it may be a really inexpensive part (I think it was a sensor of some kind), others blogs say it could be a more expensive control panel. What do you think?
Answer Hello Rosco! The E6 F2 fault code indicates a cancel key drive is open: 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board). 2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock). For your model you will use the control panel assembly (membrane switch) part number WP8300427. Thanks! Read More...
