Mitch for Model Number Amana AFD2535DEW Morning! Freezer working fine - fridge not. Unplugged, emptied out, removed ice maker and inside back panel. Unit was off about an hour prior to removing panel so I don't know if coils were frosted up or not, but were clean with the exception of some condensation when I got to it. I plugged it back in and the damper seems to open and close fine. The fan isn't running. Does the temp in the freezer have to drop before it starts working ( thermostatically controlled ) or should it come on automatically? It's been running about 20 minutes at this point. Could this be a relay / control problem or just the fan? Sorry, I don't have an amp meter. Thank you for your time!! Mitch
Answer Hello Mitch. The fan should start when the unit starts. You will need to order and replace the fan motor 12002744. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 29, 2015
