Christian for Model Number whirlpool duet dryer gew9250pw1 Dryer kept shutting off periodically tripped breaker , progressed to lock control lock being stuck with no operational ability. Ii replaced control panel, worked great for one day, now no lights on dryer extremely dim on selection wheel, now no operational ability. Is there a short somewhere? Did I just fry a new board?

If you replaced the WP8546219 Machine control board, then you need to check or replace the WP8558753 user interface control board. If you remove the lower front access panel, you should find the tech data sheet attached to the back of the panel and can conduct the diagnostics and test modes for the controls. Read More...
