Mark for Model Number GEW9250PW0 I have a Whirlpool dryer that has worked fairly flawlessly for 10+ years. This past weekend I noticed it had "control panel locked". Attempting to hold down the unlock did nothing. I unplugged and waited out over night and replugged and the light was on again but I was able to unlock it. Then when i set my timer and was looking to push start, it came back on and the control panel was again locked. a) is there a resistor or piece on this unit that has normally gone defective that I can just replace? Reading the internet, it seems a common issue. b) barring that, which exact part am I looking at here?
Answer Mark, There may be a resistor or something bad but we would not have information on it and there is no schematic of the control panel. The part that would be needed is the user interface WP8558753. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 3, 2018
