Answer Sam, with the top panel removed, the main control WP8546219 (part has been discontinued by the manufacturer) would need to be tested at the black wire and the red wire of the black 2-wire relay when the dryer is not heating properly. If there is a voltage reading of 240VAC, the control has failed. If there is a 0VAC reading, the motor 279787 centrifugal switch is sticking and the motor would need to be replaced. Read More...
