Jim C. for Model Number Jenn-Air JES9760 Broiler will not turn off. I removed the element, taped up the element wiring to use the stove top. This has happened before and I tripped the breaker for around 30 min and the stove was operating normal and lasted for a few months but this time I had to remove the boiler element. We live less than a mile from the ocean in Florida and within the blogs posted I noticed that corrosion in the connectors could have something to do with this problem. Any Ideas?

For a more detailed diagnosis, please re-post with the model number and the first two characters of the serial number from the units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, May 18, 2015
