Marie for Model Number JES9860AAB My range started having an issue with the digital screen completely shutting off during the preheat or cooking phase for the oven. I could program the oven and the panel would go black and the oven stop. Sometimes it will come back on and ask to reset clock, then start the baking process all over. I never could predict when the panel would black out. No error code, but several times it would say "power interruption". I was told it is not repairable because it needs a new circuit board. Just wondering if it might be something else? Shorting out somewhere?
Answer Marie, Aside from checking the wiring in the unit and the wiring of the power cord, this would most likely be an issue with the control board in which the control board would need to be replaced.
